Part of why the Multi-Kith merit was effective in 1E was at how relatively minor the effects of the kiths were, whereas those effects are more pronouned in 2E (Chimeras in particular have powerful utlity no matter which gameline they're in for having a pronounced ability to negate supernatural effects on them, and Gravewrights have power over ghosts to rival Sin Eaters).
